On its 35th year at the National Odor-Eaters Rotten Sneaker Contest it was finally time for children with their very smelly shoes to battle it out on the warfront! So they came to Montpelier with the stinkiest pair of sneakers that they could find. Nine contestants wanted to fight it out but the winning title went to young Trinette Robinson.

After having examined her shoes properly, the judges decided she definitely deserved to win. Must have been some cause of heartbreak for the other eight contestants because a lot of great gifts were at stake. But Trinette edged past them all very smoothly to her big win.
